"Stacy Mitchhart's latest, "Gotta Get the Feeling Back Again" is one of those rare recordings where the artist has his own distinct voice yet is able to play so many different styles: blues, funk, horn driven soul and touches of rock. Then throw in two deep, soulful covers of classic "rock" songs, "Black Dog/Whole Lotta Love" and "Whipping Post" and you have a truly fine recording. Mitchhart's original material is equally good and one can hear the varied influences of Stevie Wonder, B.B. King, and Delbert McClinton in his music. I really like his voice and the song arrangements as well. Definitely give this one a listen."
